Although the stops were much better than her last practice show, the score went up to 189,5 and that was only a 13th place. Sadly there is no video footage available from this test as yet.
The class was won by Aussie Shauna Larcombe riding RS Fondadores Olena, with a total score of 223 points.
Shauna is a well-known name in the Reining-Community. Since 2007, she is responsible for the management of the CS Ranch, taking over from her brother Martin, a multiple world champion, who went back to Australia at the end of 2006.
The CS Ranch in Givrins is the biggest and most modern private Reining facility in Switzerland. They have a website that is definately worth a look!

In the dressage arena Anky was much more successful aboard Salinero, winning both the Grand Prix with 77.021% and the Freestyle with 82%. The Dressage superstar was able to keep the other competitiors at bay with a generous lead in both tests.
After the freestyle Anky said:
"Salinero was great tonight, even though I had a few cold sweats at the extended trot where I thought he'd explode. He was rather sprightly today; I didn't really have to ask too much to get him into the extended gallop. It was a really nice event today with a fantastic audience. The circumstances are ideal for us, it's one of the most beautiful stages of the circuit and it's a shame that there aren't more competitors here. Maybe it's us who need to tell our colleagues: Here, you are welcomed/received like nowhere else."
