European Juniors & Young Riders Dressage Championships commenced on Wednesday the 4th August.  All horses were required to undertake a Vet check and all horses passed fit to start.

46 National Federations were invited to participate with one team allowed for each age group. Each team is allowed up to 5 horses and 5 riders with only four of those allowed to compete for the team. Of the four pairs starting, only the top three scores will count from each team.

Nations that are unable to put together a team are allowed to enter 2 individual riders with one horse in each age group.
