James Patterson-Robinson flies the Aussie flag in Munster

Amongst all the dressage action at the ‘Competition of the Winners’ show held in Munster last weekend were also a large number of international jumping classes. As is becoming the case at so many of the shows over here, an Aussie rider was making his presence felt.
James Paterson-Robinson had a big weekend of jumping with his team of four horses Lanosso, Chester Cable, Niack de L’Abbaye, Chet-Bull Z.
30 year old James Patterson-Robinson, originally from Geelong, has been competing in Europe for the past ten years. He first made a name for himself by being the first Australian rider to win the prestigious FEI World Breeding Showjumping Championship for Young Horses at Lanaken, Belgium, in 2001 and again in 2003. Since then he has continued his successes on the international circuit while being based with Neil Jones Equestrian in the Belgium.
