All of
the successful riders were pleased to receive
Nutririce Feed or
a beautifully crafted show stock by Cynthia - they were very special.
Presentations were conducted throughout the day after the finalisation
of each class. The food van parked right outside the 'mess' room, so a
number of people popped in to congratulate the winners and placegetters
while getting a snack and lovely Cappuccino.
It is always difficult for
organisers to arrange a time for presentations that suits everyone ... the
sponsors, committee and spectators. It would be ideal to have the
presentation ceremony at the end of the day, but riders who only have
morning times would find this very inconvenient and would be more likely to
leave than stick around for the whole day waiting for their ribbon and
prizes.
The AWHA NSW Branch ensured that
sponsors were recognised and got good value for their involvement.
Contact details and other product information has been included in this
official report so that their contributions continue to give benefit
indefinitely. Most people agreed that this was a good compromise
- well done to the Committee.
At the top of the page is a link to all of the
sponsors web site
details, so remember to patronise them, as without their support of
our event there will be no competitions in the future.
The
trophies were fantastic and everyone who got to take one home said
they would treasure it forever. Great thought went into this
aspect of the show.
Winner of the Elementary was the stunning Queensland
stallion, Jaybee Alabaster and Tor van Den Berge.
Koolrasta Park Vanity and Erin McDonall were
second.
Petra Marz, who rode Bonsai Razee for equal
3rd. Leah Fowles was equal 3rd, but was not available for the p
presentation.
Melinda Knowles was second in the Advanced test on Waiwera Domino.
This was her first ride in top hat and tails - what an achievement.
Beau Doong helped her with the bag of "Nutririce"
which Melinda was
delighted to receive. Thanks
Coprice !

Bev
Edwards and Tor van Den Berge. had plenty of reasons for their
smiles.
The AWHA NSW Gala Weekend gave the Bev and her Jaybee team the chance
to show that they have the most successful performance horse stud in
Australia.
Bev makes it her 'business' to take her horses out and their success
keeps
her youngsters in demand. The stud recently sold Jaybee Collette
(full sister)
to Jaybee
Colleen to a Victorian
Dressage rider and great things are planned for the
outstanding young mare. Congratulations to Jaybee for their well
earned success.
