Remi Stud's Annual Open Day Report - Page 4

No. 9 was Belcaryn Fantom, a 2 1/2 month old brown colt by Fishermans Friend (imp) from Aladdin's Gift xx (Mighty Planet xx/Aladdins Jewel). In foal to Wyndemere (imp) - owned by Sharyn Ross.

This is one of Fishermans Friend's first foals and is the mare's 10th foal.

Hans' comments: "This foal shows correct gaits and the hind legs come under the horse very well. All three gaits are well above average and he will make a top riding horse - and possibly a good show jumper."

No. 10 was Remi Sunset Boulevard, a 5 month old black/brown filly by Sandro Hit (Ger) from Broadway Razzamatazz (Royal Diamond(Ger)/Remi Wedgewood by Winterkoenig (imp)) Mare owned by Denise Smith. Foal owned by Cheryl O'Brien.

Hans' comments: "This is a loose moving and elegant foal - typical of Sandro Hit. She is the right size for her age and is very pretty. This mix is very popular in Europe too. She has a beautiful, well-developed neck and four good, clean legs. I very much like the canter this foal shows and the trot was very loose and expressive. Hans said this mare and foal combination are what Australian breeders should be aiming for and congratulated the owner and breeder for producing such lovely types.

No. 11 was Remi Will Farmer, a 2 1/2 month old brown colt by Wolkenstein II (Ger) from Remi Limited Edition (Lanthan (Ger)/Remi Wedgewood by Winterkoenig (imp))In foal to His Highness (Ger) Owned by Sally Warner.

Hans' comments: "This foal is a little smaller than average but would make a top horse for a young rider or lady rider. He has a very pretty head and good overall conformation."

The owner, Sally Warner lives in Melbourne and owns and breeds horses for the love of it. She is thrilled with her lovely horses and is a wonderful patron and friend of Cheryl and Remi Stud.

No. 12 was a 3 month old filly by Gymnastik Star (imp) from Wein Dame K (Winterkoenig/Chicago Peace xx) - owned by Sharon Armstrong. Unfortunately the mare and foal were scratched. Both mare and foal are for sale.

No. 13 was Roxleigh Wellington, a 6 week old brown colt by Wolkentanz (Ger) from Snappy Dee xx (Snaadee/Riyhana by Glint of Gold). In foal to Rotspon (Ger) Owned by Sharon Cox.

Hans' comments: "This is a light and elegant foal with good hind legs and quarters. He has better than average, elastic gaits and will make a good dressage horse."
