Each year, just
before Christmas, Melbourne plays host to the most prestigious dressage competition in the
country. The main attraction is the Young Horse Classes, and an outstanding collection of the best 3, 4, 5 & 6 years old horses are presented in their age group qualifying rounds. The best ten go into a second round and the final three are ridden by the visiting international judge. The event has seen Anky Van Grunsven, Michael Klimke, Isabell Werth and this year Kyra Kyrklund will be in charge.
