Chris
and Tony Billings started Skye Park Rugs from a little room at the front of their tiny
cottage in Skye (between Frankston and Cranbourne, Victoria), 25 or so, years ago.
Chris was a keen dressage/show rider, and made rugs mainly for her friends. They
have worked very hard and their little business has grown into a big business, with both
Chris and Tony involved and they now employ a number of helpers.
It is great to
see an Australian manufacturer making a go of it against the Asian and overseas imports.

A very eyecatching and colourful
display from Skye Park Rugs. This 'combi' rug would compare with the 'best' of the
imported lines. e-mail skyepark@sympac.com.au |

As keen and attentive as you
would hope their staff recommendations to be - are the girls from Stablemate. They have been in the staffing and placement business
(specialising in the horse industry) for quite some time.

These interesting stencils
attracted a great crowd every day - and I am sure that people will use the designs to
decorate properties all over Australia. |

I have been the Equitana's Mane
Event 4 times now - twice in 1999 and twice this time. On both occasions I was
really impressed with the outstanding ability of Steve Brady as a horse trainer.
Since the first time I aw Steve, I have asked around and found that many people have been
to clinics and he is highly recommended for his down to earth and effective
approach. I would like to do a clinic and would hope to do so in 2002. Phone

Story Book Farm was a great
attraction and adults and children alike were entertained by the lovely collection of farm
animals - many of them young and cute. |

A baby goat with one of his many
admirers. For many a visit to Story Book Farm was a special part of Equitana. |

The piglets are quite unaffected
by all of the fuss. They are
here with Story Book Farm. |
