Equitana Asia-Pacific 2001 was bigger and better than ever for the exhibitors.  Back in November 1999, the inaugural event, was to some of the leading suppliers, an unknown quantity and they sat back and reserved their judgement.  The unprecedented success of the first Equitana in Australia has given rise to the feeling that it is a 'must do' and the exhibition area was much bigger and much better than first time round. 

All of the exhibitors are to be congratulated for their professional presentation.  Many people that I spoke to, shared the opinion that this was the greatest gathering of merchants, educators, performers, competitors. 

For most horse enthusiasts, their particular interest is often so 'full on' that it prevents them an opportunity to see other talented horse people at work.   Equitana bought many skills and interests together and there was truly something for every horse lover.

The Mane Event - Dancing with Horses - was creatively staged to combine breathtaking riding skill,  unbelievable horse training and wonderful theatre.  Equitana Asia Pacific has made a huge impact on the Australian horse scene, and now looks set to expand to other states (this is to be officially confirmed).
