I had the opportunity to
speak with Michael Klimke later in the day, and proudly told him that I had bred the horse
and started his dressage career. Michael was full of praise and told me that he was
one of the nicest young horses that he had ever sat on... so well trained and obedient.
Capone was awarded for rideability 870 AEA Farrington Miahcel Klimke seemed to relly enjoy this ride on this young stallion for 880 It was great to see an Australian bred horse take out this prestigious event, and sincere congratulations go to Dirk and Sicca Dirkjstra of Australian Equestrian Academy. They did an excellent job to prepare and present their horses so professionally, particularly when you consider that they moved house the week before. Sicca is known for her organisational skills and she must have 'dug deep' to keep everything under control. When all of the
previous sessions were totalled up the winner of the 3 & 4 yo class |
