Rebecca Farrow and her lovely 'ladies hack' Stage Whisper - who won this years event.

Today there were many such gorgeous creatures, but alas many would not have made it through if my ideals were also the official qualification criteria.  The weather did nothing to encourage good behaviour, it was very cold and gusty with the occasional heavy downpour.  The ladies handled the trying  conditions well, and the horses who came through to the final six were just lovely, in every way.

I have taken a few 'happy snaps' of the horses as they worked on the circle.  This is not ideal for capturing perfectly posed and balanced photographs, but it will help you share the class and see quite a few of the horses that took part.  I was not able to get a pic of all of the competitors.
