| When I arrived the
cars were just 'pouring' into Werribee Park. It was more like a day at the Spring
Racing Carnival or a AFL Football game than a horse show - it was wonderful to see the
crowd support. I am wondering if anyone has highlighted this amount of interest to
the politicians involved in the Adelaide International venue problem? While the weather was far from perfect - it was a huge improvement on the gale force winds and sleeting rain that we saw on Friday. The brisk walk between each obstacle made the cooling breeze quite pleasant upon arrival at the next fence - and the atmosphere of the crowd of enthusiasts gathered together to enjoy the spectacle that is Eventing - made it a very special experience. We start with a few horses from the CCI Two Star Event. |
