- Page 5 |
The Prix St. Georges continues... |
 |
South Australian
combination - Heather Currie and her stallion Dusseldorf (by Du - Imported) Heather always riders a well prepared and accurate
test, but Dusseldorf needs to become better engaged in order to develop collection and
self carriage. |
 |
Dusseldorf did not
make any serious errors and scored quite well on 60.40% for 9th placing. Good luck Heather. |
 |
Idle Delight and
Sally Blunsden were next in the PSG. Idle Delight is a Thoroughbred by Dangers Hour. He seems like a lovely obliging gelding but the work
lacked suppleness and bend. |
 |
Sally and Idle
Delight scored 52.25% for 29th place. I am sure they will work on bend and softness
as this was the area that lost them marks. Good luck Sally. |
 |
Goodwill and
Heather Kirkman from Victoria. Heather
has made great progress over the last year or two with her talented Percheron/cross
gelding.
The horse has a great temperament, and this
is an important aspect of trainability. |
 |
Goodwill &
Heather Kirkman - they began the test with an error of course, and this early mistake
would have effected the whole performance. They scored 56.55% for 18th place. |
 |
Tjandamarra and Rob
Clay from Victoria have had a very pleasing competition result. Tjandamurra is by the Daktylus stallion Daly K - he is
owned by Rob and very popular Victorian Dressage identity - Marj England, who was up in
Sydney to cheer them on. |
 |
Tjandamurra needs a
little more time to develop his collection and self carriage, as his frame became too deep
at times, and this would have lost him marks! Some of the transitions were not clear and balanced - but overall it
was a great effort for this 8 yo gelding.
They scored 55.15% for = 21st place. |
