One of the nicest people is
Victorian Judy Smith on the lovely Kilof McOhl gfelding Killuna. Judy has been patient and thorough in the training of this talented but not always easy horse and is now beginning to see the reward. The test could have been a little more forward - and Judy acknowledges that this is the next step. It was a careful test with no mistakes but lacking the flair that earns the big marks. They scored 59.10% for a 13th placing.

Killuna (Clipper to his friends)
was bred in Victoria by Glenda Bullen and purchased by Judy Smith (and some of her
friends) as a youngster. It has been interesting to watch this immature young horse
develop into a strong and capable FEI horse. Well done Judy. |

Arvie an Andalusian/Thoroughbred
mare was ridden by Young Rider Sally Dowsett. I thought that this pair showed lots of great potential. As is usual with horses of this breeding - the collected work came naturally! Arvie vecame a little tight in the neck at times and this would have been costly. |

Arvie and Sally Dowsett did a
great job - particularly when you consider that Advanced 5F is almost at FEI level - a
great achievement for anyone, and more so a young rider. They scored 58.92% for 14th placing. |

Northern Flamenco and Nicole
Tough travellen down from Queensland to be at the National Dressage Championships. The pair put in a very good performance and scored 61.80% to secure 6th. place.
