Competition 5 - Medium 4E - Sat. 27th Oct. -
Page 3 |
The Medium 4E continues ... |
 |
Northern Invader
and Vicky Robertson. This is a very nice type of horse by Falkland Victory from a Ty
Cardin mare Northern Ty Chloe. Ty Cardin is out of an Anglo Arab mare, so this horse
has a little touch of Arabian blood. Vicky
rode a very precise test with few mistakes - they scored 60.89% for 6th place. |
 |
Young Kirsty Van
Loon and Paladin's Luxemburg came all the way from South Australia to be part of the
National Championships. Kirsty
and her talented grey are very new to Medium level competition so did a great job to be
here! |
 |
Paladin's Luxemburg
is another of the lovely horses by Ludendorf. Kirsty will benefit from this
experience ... good luck in the future. They scored 53.33% and were well down the placings. |
 |
Pharoah and Rebecca
Ashton a Holsteiner by the well respected sire Romedio. The test today lacked some softness with some unsteady
moments. These faults are very costly so attention to them will give a much better
result. - good luck!
They scored 56.89% for = 20th place. |
 |
Bel Ange Double Rum
is another lovely Thoroughbred by Double Hyperion from Rum Rumour. This horse looks
and works much more like a Warmblood. (I love Thoroughbreds and feel that the right ones
have much to offer!) Owner/rider
Camilla Mowbray rode well with the only very obvious error being too much swing in the
flying changes at X. They scored 60.33% for 8th place. |
 |
Follyfield Dinaro
and Peta Wilson. This horse was bred by well known SA rider Marion Von Sagh.
He is by the imported Swedish stallion Du (dec'd). This test lacked impulsion and the judges were quite
hard on all horses with this way of going - they scored 56.89% for = 20th.
Good luck Peta. |
 |
Victorian
combination Robyn Brown and the Lander gelding Lauder who is owned by Charlotte Inglis
from NSW. They worked well as one has come to expect from Robyn - she always
does a good job. |
 |
Lauder and Robyn
Brown who is a part owner of Victorian FEI horse Mighty Heights. Lauder and Robyn showed some very expressive work and
scored 59.33% for 11th place. |
 |
Natalie Blundell on
Mary Hockney's Billy Bathgate - this horse will be better known to Eventing enthusiasts,
as he has competed with great success with Natalie in this sport. |
 |
Billy Bathgate - a
Thoroughbred by Regal Biscay, and Natalie Blundell worked very well and achieved a great
score of 60.44% for 7th place. |
