The
Saddleworld/Winergy Dressage
Festival has grown into a real equestrian carnival ... largely due to the
participation of the many traders who come along to show us their wares.
It is a delight for the dedicated shopaholic!
For the fashion
conscious horse person there is the most exciting range of riding and casual
wear, jewelry and a large selection of saddles and saddlery that would
satisfy the most discerning buyer or those looking to keep up with the latest
trends.
For many enthusiasts ... it is
just as important to look good, as to ride well, and if you can do both then
this could be considered the 'holy grail' of Dressage!
I love the chance to browse around
the Trade Village and take in the fashion trends and latest saddle designs
and bridle styles. We are very fortunate to have Australian tradesmen
who are respected for their work all over the world. When I went to
the World Equestrian Games in 2002, I was dismayed by the lack of
'new' or different equestrian products .. we have it all here! Also, I was very pleasantly surprised at how
well Australian prices compare to goods offered by companies in Europe.
We are spoilt (but we're worth it!)
I snapped some pictures over the 4
days of the 2005 event and they appear herein no particular order and I was not
able to get every business due to clashes in times.
