Prydes Achievers - Laurie Lever & Ashleigh Drossel Dan - World Cup Winners!
Laurie Lever and Ashleigh Drossel Dan (bred and part owned by Colin and Judy Gronn) have thrown out a challenge and are on track to take their place as a truly 'international class' showjumping combination - likely to raise Australia's standing in elite showjumping circles.

Laurie ensures that his team are kept at "peak performance" with Prydes
EasiPerformance and says that it is close attention to his horse's level of fitness which allowed them to make the long trip to Queensland and enter the competition fresh and in winning form.

They placed second to Chris Chugg and Vivant (another Prydes Rider)
in the Elysian Gold Classic Tour at the Elysian Fields Showjumping Event
on the Gold Coast. They stayed on in Queensland to take part in the
World Cup Qualifier at Toowoomba on the 4th August which they won -
beating the country's best.

Vicki Roycroft commented that "Laurie rode the best jump off round I have
seen since the World Cip Final in Kuala Lumpur last year. It really was a
round Marcus Ehning (German Olympic Team Gold Rider) would have been
proud to have ridden ... and the horse's performance was awesome..."
This is great praise from a rider and competitor of such standing as Vicky
Roycroft, who knows the game at the highest level very well. These recent
achievements herald an exciting future for Laurie and Drossel Dan and could
mean a place on the team representing Australia at the Beijing Olympics
next year.
Laurie and Dan's next competition will be the World Cup qualifier in South
Australia as part of the Adelaide Royal Show in September and we all wish
them well.

Susannah Gazia from Prydes Feeds explained that she has worked closely
with Laurie Lever and all of the Lever Equine Team to ensure that the demands
of competition are considered in their feeding program. She said, "Showjumping
Horses are a special challenge as they need a balanced diet to ensure that
they develop strong bones and joints.
This soundness must carry them through the many years it takes to progress
up the grades and reach international level. We are delighted to be part of the
Lever Equestrian Team and wish them continued success."
