Werribee Park - Page 2

With excellent entries and perfect weather it was a great day to be watching dressage down at Werribee Park.  I had entered Avalanche ll in the Grand Prix four weeks ago, but he wrenched his shoulder a couple of days after posting it and although he in excellent health now, I did not have the time to properly prepare for a competitive ride today.

I decided to come along and take some pictures and and take the opportunity to bring my 3 year old out to take a look Werribee Park, and experience the meaning of life as a dressage horse.  So this will be my introduction of Hollybrook Rococo (I call him Puppy at home - because he cheeky, just like a puppy).

He had a great day and very much enjoyed himself.  He was very capably ridden by Melissa Dey who has joined the Cyberhorse team - she looks after our Members and The Virtual Saleyard.

This is Rococo - he is a little 'looky' but I am sure that his frame will improve as he gets the confidence that a little more experience brings.

He is a thoroughbred by "Londleat' who is by Jackson Square and from a TB mare by Tinterosse - he has four little white sox and a nice blaze, and personality plus !!!

biancac.jpg (23175 bytes) Another youngster out for the experience is Bianca Cradock's lovely gelding.  He is a beautiful irriedescent chestnut with four white sox.

He is ridden here by Suzanne Heislers (nee  Craddock)

Dutch Valour showed some lovely moments in the canter work.

carolynearl.jpg (22213 bytes) Carolyn Earl with her German friend - she has lots to smile about ... she  just had her best Prix St. Georges ride on her talented horse Northern Apollo.
advhollingrovehamish.jpg (15932 bytes) Debbie Williams on her 'gentle giant' Hollingrove Hamish.  They took part in both of the Advanced tests.

Debbie and Bruce Williams are breeding some very nice foals using the best imported frozen semen ... from their small bank of hand selected mares - how exciting!!

inter1goodwill1.jpg (14951 bytes) Goodwill and Heather Kirkman are starting to put together some lovely work at Prix St. Georges.

Goodwill is a Percheron cross and has a real talent for the collected work.
