Para-Equestrian launches a new program supported by APC
Equestrian Australia and the Australian Paralympic Committee will tonight celebrate the official launch of the Para-Equestrian's High Performance Program at Sydney International Equestrian Centre, Horsley Park.
The new program will see Para-Equestrian's High Performance Program managed by Equestrian Australia and integrated into mainstream Equestrian competition.
"The program is aimed at developing horse riders for Paralympic and World Equestrian Games," commented Brett Mace, Equestrian Australia's High Performance Manager.
The launch will coincide with the Para-Equestrian National Championships that started today at the Equestrian Centre and will continue through Saturday.
2008 Paralympic athletes Jan Pike, Sharon Jarvis and Nicole Cullen will be in attendance.
The launch will begin at 4.30pm and conclude at 6.30pm.
