EB Lodge prepares for Sydney Royal Easter Show 2008

E B Lodge is preparing for a busy, but hopefully rewarding, 6 days at the 2008 Sydney Royal.  The E B Lodge team has qualified, and been accepted for, over 40 classes and 12 of our most consistent and successful horses will represent the team this year.

Resident stallion and current Sydney Royal Supreme exhibit, Rubin James, (pictured above) will again contest his title in the Arabian Derivative section.

Whilst we have the exciting young Warmblood newcomers, EBL Rumba and EBL Lush (pictured left) to shake up the competition. There is a huge amount of excitement and expectation surrounding these two young mares and we know that they will be strong contenders in their respective classes.

The ponies are strongly represented with our resident Riding Pony Stallion Bevanlee After Dark, (pictured below left) tackling the Saddle Pony, Riding Pony, Part Bred Welsh and Arab Derivative sections. We can be certain that he will be equally as impressive as he was at Brisbane Royal where he was sashed Champion Saddle Pony and Reserve Champion Riding Pony exhibit.

Amongst the smaller members (but certainly not lacking in quality!) of our team are the stunning Woranora Ponies, Flaunt It and Peek a Boo and Brandy Hill Park Royal Quest who will all be attending their first royal. These ponies will probably be the busiest as they have 16 classes in four different sections between them!  We can’t wait to see them put some serious pressure on the strongly contested and competitive pony rings…..

We are immensely proud to be exhibiting Rathowen Quantum, the current Supreme Riding Pony exhibit form Canberra Royal and fellow stable mates Rocksbury Matinee (pictured right) Anngrae So Dazzling and Dunelm Looking Good on behalf of our clients.  We are pleased that these lovely horses will be an integral part of our Royal team and know that the will be extremely competitive in all their classes.

So as we prepare for a hectic week we know that the time and effort that it takes to prepare successful horses at this high level will be rewarded, not only in the ring, but just importantly by furthering the reputation and great results that E B Lodge is renowned for.

We will keep you posted with results as they come to hand.
