Sydney CDI 2006 - Saturday Night Entertainment - Pas de Trois

The Sydney CDI-3Star

4-6 May 2006
Sydney International Equestrian Centre

Pas de Trois Photo Show
Story & Pictures by Berni Saunders

The Saturday Evening program was 'jammed packed' with fantastic Dressage, Farewell to the Nations (in the superb vintage Morgan sports cars) Stallions on Show, this fun Pas de Trois and the Grand Prix Freestyle.  The entertainment began at 5 PM and went through til almost midnight.  Everyone agreed that the organisers 'hit the spot' and provided something for everyone!

The Pas de Trois was a light hearted segment featuring some very serious and accomplished riding and horsemanship from Amanda Leggett and Sally Anne Gilles on Tavistock Kisha (25 years) and Tavistock Kalinsky and the third member of the troupe "Isabelle Worst" on the cute and mischievous Olympic Jody.

Jody gave the EFA Dressage Selectors something to think about with superb canter pirouettes and extended trot sequences that had plenty of activity - in fact the legs went so fast the eye could hardly keep up with them.  I am guessing that Janice Usherwood has had a role in this act and it is great to see the 'paly's' out again.

I am sure we would all like to thank the girls and their talented friends for bringing us the 'lighter' side of Dressage and giving us all the  opportunity for a giggle.

I have many lovely pictures of most horses
