Brigid told Berni Saunders,
"the prize is a real thrill, my
horse is a 'skinny Thoroughbred' and I have heard about  Prydes and am keen to try him on this EasiFeed"

2005 winner Rebecca Woff

2006 winner Stephanie Barrell

A very special and rather emotional time in the presentation ceremony on Thursday was the  Briana Judge award (above).
Briana, an accomplished rider, tragically lost her life while in Dubai early in 2003.  She was an active Pony Club and EFA rider and loved training dressage horses.  Briana was a member of the Gisborne Pony Club and also won many EFA events up toMedium and Advanced.  Briana's parents have donated a perpetual trophy for the highest placed rider who is a joint Pony Club and EFA member.  Due to difficulties with the photo opportunity they are pictured with the 2005 winner Rebecca Woff on the left and on the final day of the 2006 competition the current winner Stephanie Barrell was honoured with the Briana Judge award and below she is pictured thanking all for the opportunity to win this event.  What a lovely and meaningful way to remember their wonderful daughter.

Cyberhorse has added many pictures to the results from this event and trust that this will serve to share some highlights of this competition with the many friends of young riders who didn't make it down to Werribee to see the action for themselves, so go to these pages for photos taken at the event.
