Heatherton
Park Arnnatevka the recently imported mare, ridden by her owner
Emmie Schmul. She is a beautiful type with 3 outstanding paces.
Arnnatevka was a little unsteady at times and perhaps some
tightness spoiled the flow. This is a combination to watch and
as the young mare gains in experience and confidence, they will
come into their own. Good luck Emmie.

Heatherton
Park Carlos is naturally blessed with a beautiful ‘front end’
and his gorgeous frame is the highlight of his work. He is a
big horse with a nice trot and canter. Tension spoilt the first
walk but rider Tristan Tucker got him listening and more
confident. Then Carlos was able to show that his walk is great
and h has the overall quality to make a great prospect for the
future.

Jem
Valentino was ridden by Murray Lamperd has worked on sound
basics to give the steady improvement that can be seen in this
talented young horse. The qualifying competitions this season
have enabled Murray to produce a very solid 5 YO. Valentino
showed lovely cadence and expression in the trot work and
certainly has a great future. I wonder if Murray will event him
as this has been his preferred discipline up until now.

Belcam
Courtage is very pretty and has settled well. She was very hot
and reactionary when her trainer/rider Heidi Talbot started to
take her to competitions. Heidi had some rather scary moments,
but Courtage has settled well and showed some nice work and lots
of potential for the future.

Kathryn
Eke’s Sleuth was ridden by Brett Parbery. This Sherlock Holmes
gelding was bred by Richard Maidment from Larapinta Stud in
Yellingbo. He scored 8.2 for his loose and swinging trot.
Kathryn has done an excellent job with Sleuth and he is now a
serious future prospect. Kathryn works very hard on her
Virtual Tack Shop
business and has joined forces with Hannoverian Riding Wear to
bring the best of the established contacts of the longest
established supplier with the convenience of on-line shopping.

Belcam Cambridge was ridden by Justine
Greer who took over the reins for owner Annie Lavelle who had an
accident with the horse a week ago. Poor Annie, she has worked
so hard to be part of this competition. Cambridge did a good job
for Justine and Annie would have been very proud of
his sound
education and good manners.
