Adelaide International Horse Trials - Dressage

Adelaide International Horse Trials

Dressage Day

11 November 2005

CCI ****

The four star class began in warm weather which is forecast to continue for the weekend.  In one of the biggest four star classes in the AIHT history Jessica Irvine-Brown riding Belcam Aaberdeen leads the competition after the dressage with 39.6 penalty points from Janelle Pitts riding Mr Showoff with 43.1 followed by Megan Jones and Kirby Park Irish Jester on 43.3 and Rebel Morrow riding Oaklea Groover on 43.7.  With only 10 penalty points between first and tenth the competition even time faults cross country could result in big changes to the leader board.

CCI **

The two star class dressage was held on the second oval and Jane Griffin riding Mousetrap led the field on 42.3 penalty points from Emma Dougall on Dotcom with 42.6 with Shane Rose & Cleddau Bobby Dazzler third with 44.7 but again less than ten points separates the first ten placings.

CIC **

Due to the huge number of entries for the four star class this year the CIC ** class dressage was moved to the Thursday which for competitors was very trying at times weather wise with showers and strong winds throughout the day.

Ali Foye & Bondir finished the day in front on 46.80 with Katja Weimann & Triathlete on 50.70 and Jessica Rosen & Bouncing Betty on 52.20.
