Johan Zagers in Australia - Page 2

Johan Zagers at Sunbury Lodge
 22 - 26th January 2005
Story and Pictures by Berni Saunders
Page 2 - The Riders

Unfortunately I was not able to get pictures of all of the riders, but here are some of Johan's regulars here in Australia.  We all love his lessons and 'hang out' for him to come back to enable us to make another step forward.

Anne Smith is probably the one who makes the biggest statement about Johan as an instructor, for she is the person to 'underwrite' clinics and ensure that he gets the lessons to justify coming to Australia.

I took the pictures on Anne's lovely outdoor arena with 'David' watching over us all.  The lighting enabled me to get some great pictures.

Leanne Williams who made such an impact on her Clydie cross - Avoca Black Saint was on a little too early for me, but she told me that she is getting as much from Johan on her mare Avoca Eclipse.  I included a picture of them at Whittlesea recently.

Anthea Hayes loves her lessons with Johan and manages to get some time
from her very busy legal practice.  Hayes and Associates are very generous
sponsors at DWTS.  'Albury' is by Argentinus and shows his sires powerful
scopey movement.  Anthea felt that they had improved over three days.
