Top rows - Bartonero, Owned by Lois Coles and ridden by one of Australia's leading Equestriennes - Helen Heagney.
Helen is a wonderful rider, having won the prestigious Garryowen trophy 5 times.  She (and many good horses)  have also won numerous Champion Hack, and Champion Lady Rider awards at Royal Shows around Australia.  As well as her unchallenged success in the show ring, Helen is also a very accomplished Dressage rider and trainer.    She has trained several horses to FEI level, and again, has competed with success at the top competitions throughout Australia.  Top ten at Barastoc will be a very pleasing result for this self confessed perfectionist.

This horse has improved so much in the past 12 months, and is
a great credit to his owners and trainers.

Top 10 at Barastoc Horse of the Year is quite something !!
