Equestrian Games representatives Stuart Tinney and David Middleton as well as elite riders
Megan Jones and Tim Boland.
Two lucky readers of The Horse Magazine, Claire and Ingrid Rowe, from Geelong
Victoria are packing their bags and heading north to Sydney after winning 2 Gold VIP
Passes and 3 nights accommodation courtesy of the events Hotel Sponsor Holiday
Inn Rooty Hill and The Horse Magazine.
This will be Claires first trip to Sydney, and Ingrid, Claires mother is
looking forward to showing her the sites of Sydney before enjoying front row seats in the Miranda
Wines VIP Marquee at the first water jump. Claire and Ingrid will have the opportunity
to listen to expert dressage commentary, go on guided cross-country and jumping course
walks as well as indulge in fine food and wines from the events new wine sponsor Miranda
Wines.
There is still time for Pony Clubs and EFA affiliated clubs to enter the draw and win "Horselands
Instructor for the Day" Prue Barrett. By simply purchasing 10 or more
general admission tickets in advance your club could win Prue for a days
instruction. Prue has an outstanding record having represented Australia as well as
winning eight Advanced Three-Day Events herself. She is currently Assistant Coach to our
national eventing team. Prue loves to teach adults and children alike, her youngest pupil
is just four years old. Prue will travel anywhere in New South Wales to instruct for the
day.
All purchasers of advance general admission tickets ($10 per day, under twelves free)
will also go into a draw to "win a behind the scenes tour" to meet famous
horses and riders. Admission includes free parking.
Another great way to get behind the scenes is to volunteer. Contact Barbara and Jim
