The quality of applicants was extremely high and we had a  hard task in keeping squad numbers down to nine.

All squad members are already competing at 2-star level.

These riders will attend squad clinics pre-Melbourne and pre-Adelaide (or alternative) Horse Trials. They will no doubt hotly contest the prize of an  escorted trip to the Mitsubishi Badminton Horse Trials (UK) next year for the two top performances of squad members at the major Event in
November this year. They will also receive $1,000 and horse and rider clothing courtesy
of Mitsubishi.
