On Tuesday, December 8th, some of the most renowned and popular celebrities of equestrian sport will travel to Aachen's Soers. Previous to the Salut-Festival, the event for Germany's best young riders from December 10th to 13th, Winkler and Romeike will comment on their "Rides of the Century", together with their fellows Jos Lansink, Nicole Uphoff-Selke, Dr. Matthias Baumann, Kai Vorberg, Michael Freund and the local celebrities from Aachen Peter Schmitz and Willibert Mehlkopf.
The entry is free for all members of the ALRV, otherwise the entry fee is 25 Euros (20 Euros for personal members of the German National Equestrian Federation FN). The event's ticket proceedings will be donated for therapeutic riding. The show starts at 7 p.m. in the Albert-Vahle-Arena.
Together with the Personal Members of the FN, the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein ALRV invites everyone to a multimedia evening with the celebrities of German equestrian sport. After three glamorous events in Warendorf and Verden, the "Rides of the Century" now kick off the renowned Salut-Festival, Aachen's annual jumping tournament of Germany's best young riders. This soiree of top equestrian sport will feature videos of the most celebrated, most popular and most spectacular rides of the last century on a big screen. The video rides will come to life through the comments and stories of the contemporary witnesses on stage. The show starts with the Olympic Games 1936 in Berlin. But spectators may not only expect a cinematic review on the highlights of German equestrian sport, because also the celebrities will be on stage, aside to Olympic, World, European and German Champions there will also be local celebrities from Aachen, reminiscing their personal "Rides of the Century".
