Right - Tango V and Mary Hanna in the Grand Prix Special - our Victorian Dressage Coach enjoyed having Tango back in top form following a set back with a virus earlier this year. Rob Hanna did a good job as the Statene Park team's "official test caller" probably more pressure than his job as the Chef d'Equipe for the Beijing Olympics Eventing Team! | Tango V and Mary Hanna |
Maree Tomkinson on Rodrigo 111 I loved her GP test, as did Jill Cobcroft but she had to settle for 4th place in the Grand Prix. |
Hayley Gilbert is a steady improver on her exciting Jazz mare Odiana K. They are new to the 'big tour' and made their mark at the DWTS Masterclass. Hayley is sponsored by her mum Lyn's Riders' Shoppe Boutique. and always looks immaculate. They have a wonderful collection of Hanoverian horses at home - great for the future. | It was really nice to see the beautiful black stallion Prince Noir back in competition. He has a new partner, Alison O'Neil who had fun ... and a well deserved 4th at Inter 1 level. Alison has put together a UTube DVD to share her experiences with "The Prince" and it is worth a look. Well done Alison and Silverdene Stud. |
Tango V and Mary Hanna make their way back to the stables with the help of Richard Harve, their Tassie groom who is working with the Statene Park Team and learning all he can about dressage riding and training. Richard is currently in his 'gap' year before heading off to Uni and he has been training his show hunter with instructor Thomas Muehlenbeck. | Ian Stansfield-Smith - (dad of Holly) is accompanied by Charlie the Macaw who is acting CEO of Ian's Steel Company - Charlie loves the dressage ... and we all love to see Charlie.
Charlie is a much loved companion and goes everywhere with Ian - including shopping at Camberwell Junction. Charlie and his feathered friends have a huge indoor aviary at the office and he has a special secure car cage for trips. |
Kathryn Eke from the Virtual Tackshop was pleased with her first Inter 1 test on Sleuth, the well named son of Sherlock Holmes! Kathryn is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her new Westfalian gelding. | A rewarding event for Victorian Dressage Squad member Bec Woff on her much improved APH Showman - a great effort for a young rider coming up the ranks. |
Mayfield Pzazz and Kerry Mack took part in the FEI events - the horse is back on track after leading edge stem cell surgery - good to see him well ... and re-establishing his winning ways. | WS Nevada and Caro Wagner back on track.
