Beautiful day out at Clarendon and a great roll up. Good courses built by Mark Atkins, with convenor Janne Redman doing a great job.
A blow out on an irrigation line left arena 3 flooded and out of action, but the day proceeded with a new course being designed in ring 4 and supervised by Joyce & Bob Brooks.

Some big teams were away at the Adelaide Royal (Chatham Park, Chuggs, Andrew Inglis and Jenny Shepherd), but several big teams added to the numbers including Vicki Roycroft and John Cooper from Central Coast and several eventers including Stuart Tinney and Emma Mason.

It was sad to hear of the death of Vicki Roycroft's great World Cup horse "Infatuation" who died last week as a result of a growth in his intestines.
Competitors are reminded that pre entries are essential for all SSJC events and must be made through www.globalentriesonline.com.au
The next competition day is scheduled for Sunday 20th September and will serve as a good warm up for riders heading for the State and National Titles at Canberra in early October.
