Cross Country - Saturday, 22 August, 12h45 - 15h55 CEST

Jumping - Sunday, 23 August, 13h20 - 15h20 CEST

The HSBC FEI World CupTM Eventing Final in Strzegom (POL) has got off to a thrilling start with Dressage performances of the highest level. The competition includes the world's best combinations.

Oliver Townend (GBR) is in the lead on his Badminton winner Flint Curtis with the outstanding mark of 29.60.

The Cross-Country will be a tight contest as the top three riders are just a few penalties apart. Frank Ostholt (GER) and his former Luhmühlen winner Air Jordan are just one penalty behind Townend with the defending champion Clayton Fredericks (AUS) on Ben Along Time, also a former 4* winner, in third in 31.40.

Riders are viewing Rudiger Schwarzer's Cross-Country course with the utmost respect and just as tough as last year's track in Deauville. Oliver Townend said, "The course looks extremely serious and it will be difficult to retain our current positions. It will be challenging but I will ride my best."

31 horses representing 14 nations will start the Cross-Country on Saturday.
