The CSI***** of Cannes is a very special horse show. It is staged in the center of the city, only 50 meters away from one of the world’s famous avenue: La Croisette. The "International Show Jumping of Cannes" became the world’s highest endowed horse show in 2000 with 1.4 million dollars in prize money. Since then, the world’s best riders and their top horses come to the city of the "International Film Festival" annually to enjoy the top sport of the famous Global Champions Tour stage and the glamorous ambiance. The Global Champions Tour awarded winner Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, riding Shutterfly, the glass trophy after she won the Grand Prix, beating Edwina Alexander with Itot du Chateau in a 100% female jump off.
Cannes is one of the most famous cities in the world. The show has a strong attraction for its 15,000 visitors, who are fascinated by the city’s star status. Four world famous palaces are situated on the Croisette, to welcome the finest riders, owners, VIP’s, and equestrian fans. The golden sands of the beaches, the prestigious shops, finest restaurants, and night clubs will make sure your stay in Cannes during the show a unique experience!
At the show grounds, amateur classes for riders from all over the world are staged during the day time. The international five star competitions are held in the evening between 7pm and midnight, with the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of France broadcasted live in 59 countries by Eurosport. After that, it is party time in the private "Riders, owners and VIP club" on the show ground !
One characteristic of the Cannes’ CSI***** is its quality of infrastructure, which makes this horse show a fantastic stage to delight spectators, but also offers the best communication and marketing opportunities to international sponsors and media.

This week the Global Champions Tour moves to Cannes, France where Edwina Alexander will be among the top riders competing in the showjumping classes. There is also world class dresssage featuring an appearance by Anky van Grusen and Salinero and a set of Amateur jumping classes. The show will be live streamed on both www.globalchampionstour.com as well as the shows own website www.jumpingcannes.com where you can also find details of the entire programme and other local information.
