Shane Rose to the occasion
Shane Rose rode All Luck to victory at the inaugural Eventing Equestriad CIC 3* held at Camden last weekend.
In addition to being a competitor Rose was President of the new event and juggled his commitments with professionalism leading the competition from start to finish on his 2008 Olympic mount.
"We were extremely happy the event ran without a glitch which was great for our first attempt," said Rose "everyone on the committee did their job which enabled me to have some fun riding as well."
"Eventing Equestriad" is destined to become a favourite on the Eventing calendar. Spectators enjoyed a live band, professional commentary and a beautifully catered hospitality marquee whilst the jumping castle and face painting were hugely popular with the kids.
The riders were treated to an improved cross-country course revamped by the masterful Wayne Copping whilst John Valance worked his magic on the show jumping courses.

South Australian Megan Jones and Kirby Park Allofasudden finished in second place in the CIC 3* and third went to Emma Scott aboard Mustang.
It was also a rewarding result for fellow event organiser Sharmayne Spencer who won the CIC2* riding her beautiful liver-chestnut mare Jaybee Star Celebrity.
