Olympics News: House Rules

House rules for equestrian events to be explained

The following is issued on behalf of the Equestrian Events (Hong Kong) of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad Company:

You are invited to send your Olympic-accredited representative on
Friday (August 1) at 2.30pm to a briefing in the Venue Media Centre press conference room in Sha Tin on the required house rules for the media when they cover the Equestrian Events of the Olympics starting next week.

Among the do's and don'ts to be explained will be guidelines on
permitted photographic equipment and arrangements for commuting to the Olympic Village (Royal Park Hotel) in Pak Hok Ting Street, Sha Tin, for meetings with competing athletes upon application.

Media representatives will also be taken on a tour of the positions
from where they shall operate during competition times.

You should remind your representative to wear their OIAC pass and
arrive at the Penfold Park carpark screening station (outside the Sha Tin racecourse grandstand) for screening and shuttle service to the venue.

Please allow yourself sufficient time for security checking.

A tour of the stables will be arranged for August 2, details of which
will be announced at Friday's briefing.
