Adelaide International Horse Trials Dressage 2004

Adelaide International Horse Trials

Dressage Day

12 November 2004

CCI ****

The four star class began under overcast skies and in windy conditions which appeared to unsettle a number of the competitors.

Second last to ride as the conditions became very dark and cold was Sammi McLeod riding Black Odyssey who finished in front on 51.80 penalty points from Jessica Irvine-Brown riding Belcam Aberdeen on 54.40 penalties and Craig Barrett on Staccato on 55.40.

The four star class is very close after the dressage with only 36 points separating first from last with less than one refusal covering the first 15 riders.

CCI **

On the second arena the large class of 39 were put through their paces.  Local rider Megan Jones and Winergy Fedwell finished in front on 47 penalty points from Boyd Martin and Ying Yang Yo on 48.20 penalty points with Chris Burton and Newsprint and Stuart Tinney and Oroton equal third on 48.60.

CIC **

In the third class the dressage was held on Friday morning on the main arena.  Jessica Rosen riding Bouncing Betty was placed in front on 48 penalty points from Craig Barrett & Mystic Magic on 48.30 with Emma Dougall riding Dotcom in third with 49.60.  Like the four star class there are 15 riders with one cross country refusal of the lead.
