This e-visit to the
main arena on Tuesday the 21st September captures some moments of the
workouts. The horses are featured down from 1st placing and then in
alphabetical order.
Master Douglas is owned
by D Erikson and was ridden by Jessica Williams. Jessica scored 34 for her
riding and 29 for Master Douglas' manners and paces. He is a
very nice horse and capable of a bit more - good luck Jessica.
Above and below:
Omar and Sue Thompson. This attractive bay is by Snaadee and is true
to so many TB's by this respected stallion. He is a favourite of
mine with his 'chrome' legs and pretty head. Again Sue and Omar
needed to do a little more in this top level company as 32 for riding and
30 for manners and paces left them behind the top scoring combinations.

Regal Outline took
exception to being asked to move away from the security of his friends in
the line-up. He was not really on the riders aids and things looked
rather dismal there for a while.
Nicole Guillot the owner
and rider of Regal Outline seemed to have a chat to herself and decided
that unless she really posed some questions ... and got the correct
response, her lovely black would be completely overlooked. She did a
great job from this point and did well to gain 36 marks for her
riding effort and the horse scored 33 for manners and paces.
Regal Outline is by
Kinjite and he is 10 years old. Good luck Nicole.
Sansarin Bay moves obediently away from the line-up for
rider Rachel Lawrie.
Above and below -
Sansarin Bay ridden by Rachel Lawrie from Sough Australia. Rachel
has a great depth of knowledge behind her performance and the elastic
moving chestnut looked the goods. The 11 YO is by Orient Way and his
foot perfect workout and lovely frame gained Rachel 41 for riding and him
33 for manners and paces. I felt that he deserved a few more points
as he went forward, but it is always difficult to make an assessment
placed at a different position and me looking at the 'dressage aspects.
Good luck Rachel.
Above and below - Top
Guy and Michelle Harpley give the 2004 Garryowen Trophy their best shot
and like so many were beautifully prepared and presented and yet did not
get the chance to shine. I trust that she enjoyed this great
experience. The sprightly 12 YO is by Kingston Heritage.
