Cannavaro's sire is sire Contendro I (pictured left) winner of 2001 stallion performance test at Adelheidsdorf with a jumping index of 147.29 and dressage index of 131.09, more than 30 of his sons have been licensed so far. He offers his offspring strong movement, a perfect jump with power and fast reflexes. So popular as a sire he is a prime stallion in almost every studbook in Germany.

The grandsire Contender also won his stallion performance test and is one of the most sought after jumping sires in Germany. Producing 498 successful registered performance horses, almost 80 licensed sons and 60 of his daughters awarded State Premium status.

Cannavaro’s Dam Fiorella produced two licensed sons Compliment and Cannavaro. Her most famous daughter St.Pr.St Carina produced the mare family awarded the Herwart von der Decken-Prize in 2007 and 2009. St.Pr.St. Red Chili by Rotspon (dam of licensed stallion Hampton), St. Pr.St. Faconnable by Furst Heinrich and St. Pr. St. Red Hot Chili by Rotspon, proving performance through the generations.

Fiorella’s sire Freiherr is sire of the famous Feiner Stern. The grandsire Furioso II’s decedents include Florestan, Furst Heinrich, Fidermark, Florencio and two of jumping’s greatest, Voltaire and Landor S.
