Race 1 - Lucky Horseshoe Final
Arva Ginger led with Franco No Fear in fourth position one off the inside.  Arva Ginger continued to lead until well into the back straight where Franco No Fear cruised up to take control going on to win comfortably from Badboy Nitro with Allbert third.
Race 2 - Inter Dominion Pacing Championship Heat 4
Favourite Reba Rajah started well to lead early and soon crossed to the inside ahead of Karloo Mick with Tribute fourth one off the rail followed by Winforu.  With 600m to go Poppys Boy challenged Reba Rajah with Karloo Mick along the inside with Tribute running on.  Reba Rajah fought back turning for home with Tribute and Winforu putting in their claims out wider and Karloo Mick waiting for the sprint lane on the inside.  As the quartet charged to the post Tribute edged ahead to win narrowly from Karloo Mick with Winforu third followed by Reba Rajah.

Race 3 - SA Bookers League Claiming Cup

Triple Velocity led with Glasscutters Atom fifth early.  With a lap to go Triple Velocity led with Glasscutters Atom shuffled well back in the field.  Around the home turn Glasscutters Atom found the gaps through the field to hit the front halfway down the home straight and in turn held off the late challenge of Maurice George to win with Knightworkman third.

Race 4 - Inter Dominion Pacing Championships Heat 5

Flaming Roadstar led early but within a lap Be Good Johnny had taken over to lead from Blacks A Fake.  The superstar pair came away from the rest around the home turn where Be Good Johnny outsprinted Blacks a Fake to win with a gap back to Flaming Roadstar third.  Foreal lost all chance by galloping at the start as Be Good Johnny recorded a track record time for the trip.

Race 5 - City of Salisbury Invitation Drivers Pace

Spirit of Shard led throughout racing away over the concluding stages to win easily.

Race 6 - Inter Dominion Pacing Championship Heat 6

Betting was suspended straight after race 5 and it was soon announced that Flashing Red would be scratched due to a pre race swab irregularity.  When the delayed race got away Toe Taper led early but Conte De Cristo took over along the back straight with Robin Hood well back in the small field.  With a lap to go Conte De Cristo led Robin Hood who have moved forward around the field.  Robin Hood joined Conte De Cristo around the turn and soon took over in front.  Toe Taper gave chase but Robin Hood was too strong winning comfortably with Place of Glory third.

Race 7 - Grand Nissan SA Kindergarten (2yos)

Glittering Dreama led with Cullens Hope behind midfield.  With a lap to go Cullens Hope started a forward move but was checked behind Disco Dog when that horse galloped then went very wide around that runner down the back straight.  Meanwhile as they started to turn Glittering Dreama drifted off the inside and Crusaders Crest went for the inside run but that resulted in Crusaders Crest ending up inside the pegs.  As this was happening Cullens Hope was making a long searching run around the extreme outside of the field.  Cullens Hope still had enough power to hit the front soon after straightening and continued his run to the line to defeat Waitpinga Fella with a gap to Mount Operative third.
