Adelaide Royal Show 2006 1st September to 9th September RAS Showgrounds.
Showjumping Showjumping also began on Friday with the first class of the day going to Woodmount Crusader ridden by Brook Dobbin from Kristy Bruhn riding Belcam Advisor with Anthony Thomas and Cool Secret third. After lunch the experienced horses had their fist outing with Michelle Clark and Belcam Gambler winning from Brook Dobbin & GP Shine with Robert Agnew and hero Quest third. The final class of the day went to Robert Atkinson & Finke from Anthony Thomas & Kinnordy Goerlitz with Rebecca Allen & Koyuna Ted third. Saturday morning saw Kristy Bruhn & Harbarty win from Anthony Thomas & Legal Eagle with Brook Dobbin & Woodmount Crusader third. The Power and Speed contest was next with Russell Morrison and Jondoree's Farm Didgeridoo taking victory from Rebecca Tucker & Charlie Girl with Robert Atkinson & Finke third. The Scurry Jumping Contest went to Sarah Willoughby and Bojangles from Rebecca Allen and RSB Jacky Winter with Kristy Bruhn and Romantic Idol third. Krystal Lillecrap & Little Town Lad took out the Junior Jumping Contest from Sarah-Louise McMillan & Lanarkshire Lad with Sarah-Louise's other mount Casper third. On Sunday Rebecca Allen & RSB Jacky Winter took out the morning contest with Rebecca also second with Koyuna Ted and Amy Graham & Transatlantic third. The lunchtime contest went to Phillip Stephens & Lillico Calvin from Brook Dobbin & GP Shine with Anthony Thomas and Sandstones third. The afternoon event went to Kristy Bruhn & Belcam Advisor from Clive Reed & Kinnordy Serena with Brook Dobbin & Woodmount Crusader third. The final event of the day was the Rescue Relay Jumping where pairs race in relay over the course to a set time. Rebecca Allen & RSB Jacky Winter and Kristy Bruhn & Romantic Idol were declared the winners from Anthony Thomas & Novak and Sarah Willoughby & Bojangles with Anthony Thomas & Belcam Aircraft & Greg Willoughby's St Elmo's Fire third. Kristy Bruhn took first and second with Harbarty and Belcam Advisor respectively in the morning jumping contest with Anthony Thomas & Legal Eagle third. Amy Graham & Transatlantic was successful in the lunchtime event from Rebecca Allen & Koyuna Ted with John Patterson & Rado third. The Take Your Own Line contest went to Kristy Bruhn & Romantic Idol from Rebecca Allen & RSB Jacky Winter with Greg & Deborah Willoughby's St Elmo's Fire third. Tuesday opened with the Junior Jumping contest where Sarah-Louise McMillan & Lanakshire Lad took the prize from Madeline Willoughby & Riverside Rising River with Kimberley Charles & Black Velvet third. The second jumping contest went to Rebecca Allen & Koyuna Ted from Amy Graham & Secret Warrior with Robert Atkinson & Finke third. The World Class Warm Up Class went to Tyrone Latham & Mulberry Road from Brook Dobbin & GP Shine with Kristy Bruhn & Murph third. The final class of the wet afternoon went to Anthony Thomas & Legal Eagle from Kristy Bruhn & Harbarty with Clive Reed & Kinnordy Serena third. Wednesday opened with the Junior One Round Jumping Contest where Kimberley Charles & Black Velvet were successful from Madeline Willoughby & Riverside Rising River with Sarah-Louise McMillan & Lanarkshire Lad third. The major jumping event of the week was the World Cup round held over lunch on Wednesday which saw Gavin Chester riding the grey Warlord II take victory. The final event on Wednesday was the Scurry Jumping contest where Sarah Willoughby & Bojangles won from Rebecca Allen & RSB Jacky Winter with Kristy Bruhn & Romantic Idol third. The Junior Grand Prix was held on Thursday morning with victory going to Sarah-Louise McMillan & Miss Cinnamon from Madeline Willoughby & Wee Taddy with Sarah-Louise McMillan also third with Lanarkshire Lad. The Grand Prix over lunch went to Anthony Thomas & Legal Eagle with a second Anthony Thomas mount in Sandstones second with Rebecca Allen & Koyuna Ted third.
